Artist's Comments

Scene from the Darkest Hour where Firestar loses one life. Blood is toned down waayyy much, seeing as Scourge sliced him a bunch. I treid art without lines this time, and I like how it came out, but I don't like the StarClan cats.
I don't know what happened to the color, though! When I saved it it became less saturated and that makes me sad. :(

As others have commented before, Firestar looks amazing and very realistic! To add to this though, you gave him a strong, noble, and very likeable feel, by doing that you pull his character right out of the book and work it with art.
The highlights, shadows, cuts, blood, and glow is all amazingly done too.
One area that is bothering me is Bluestar. Like Wewt said, something doesn't feel right. I think it may be that you don't see as much of her character as you did with Firestar. But that is very hard to do with realism. Great work!

The detail you put into Firestar is beautiful! It looks very realistic. Also, his scratches are very well done. Again, very realistic. The only think I have a critique on, is the other cats. Not all of them of course, seeing how they are not the main focus of the picture, but some of them don't have the same realistic appeal that Firestar has. Also, Bluestar looks a little strange. I think it is something in her face, but I can't really figure out what it is. I am not one to judge, because I am not a realistic artist, but I just thought I'd give my input.

Any way, this is a beautiful piece of art, and I look forward to seeing more.

That happens to me a lot. What I do is print screen and save the picture on Paint. But if its bigger than the screen...then I dont know. D:
